This unusual sterling silver ornate Saint Martin Pendant is approximately 2.5 cm. It is a decorative piece featuring the much loved image of Saint Martin de Porres and makes a beautiful addition to a silver chain or pin. Only available while limited stocks last.

St. Martin de Porres is the patron saint of interracial harmony, known for his social work and miraculous healing powers.
Porres entered the Dominican clergy in 1601, although it was quite unusual at the time for someone of mixed race to be received into the religious order. He was known for his vegetarian lifestyle, social work and unique healing powers, and for founding a residence in Lima for orphans and abandoned children.
