Description
Inspire your children with the real stories of Dominican Saints and Blesseds.
The Dominican Saints Storybook is a beautifully illustrated collection of faith-filled stories written for children and families.
The Dominican Order was founded in 1216 by St. Dominic. He wanted to spread the truth of the Catholic Faith and combat false teachings. Today, this book continues his mission—by helping young readers learn about the lives of brave men and women who lived out their faith with courage and joy.
This book was created by Brother Nathan Peer, OP. While in formation with the Dominican Order, he realized how little he knew about the Saints in his own tradition. He wanted to help a new generation get to know these holy people—through stories that are both educational and fun.
Brother Nathan wrote and illustrated the book. His drawings are full of charm and imagination. Many of them are designed to be colored in, offering children a creative way to engage with the stories.
He was helped by fellow Dominican student brothers, who each contributed to writing the biographies. Together, they created a book that is joyful, informative, and easy to read.
