Supporting our Student Priests

The St Martin Apostolate raises funds for the education of students for the priesthood (Association of Student Priests).
In recent years the Dominican Order has been blessed with vocations but all these students have to be educated and supported in every way during their years of study
The following words were written by Pope Pius XII – ‘of all the works of the Catholic Church there is none greater, more noble, or more holy than the work of the Foreign Missions, for there is none so poor, so naked, or so hungry as they who know not God.’
It is something of a paradox that today our mission field has extended to include our own country and places nearer home. Technology has enabled us to make more contact with others and yet there is a growth in the cult of the individual. The rise of secularism has led to a separation from God and a belief that as humans we are all powerful and all knowing.
People are no longer taught about the word of God, or they believe it is irrelevant and as such can be disregarded. The challenge facing those who are dedicated to promoting and preaching the gospel is greater now than it has ever been and it can only be done with your assistance.
It costs a lot each day to support and educate a student priest and we would be most grateful if you would consider supporting the priests and/or becoming a regular contributor to to the Association of Student Priests. If you are in a position to help us, click the button below to securely donate online or please call us on 01 8745465 (00353 1 8745465 from outside Ireland).
The many supporters of the St Martin Apostolate have given generously over the years and now more than ever we value your support.
Can you help? We are extremely grateful for any donation and no donation is too small. We can assure you of our prayers and a remembrance in daily masses we offer for all those who support us.
