St. Martin Apostolate is located at 42 Parnell Square West, opposite the Rotunda Maternity Hospital. The Apostolate moved into No. 42, from No. 30, in April of 1977 – it snowed on moving day!
- We offer a wonderful piece of calm in the bustling City within our Oratory. The Oratory is open twice a day currently – 12 noon and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 12 noon Fridays.
- Our Shop offers a wide variety of religious goods, books, cards and prayer guides. We hope to launch our on-line store soon so that you can order these items on-line and have them delivered to your door.
- St. Martin’s Magazine – our monthly magazine will allow you to catch up with us, read about historical and religious events, a little bit of gardening and a health check. Subscribe HERE
- The Moving Crib – In addition to all of the above, we have the famous Moving Crib which opens in November each year and remains open through to early January. Keep and eye out for more news about the Crib in the coming months.
Before it was our current home, No. 42 housed a hostel for young ladies and was under the patronage of the Dominican Order. Many of these young women came from the country to work in Dublin in the Civil Service and our accommodation provided a safe environment from which to venture into the uncertainties of life in the Capital City.
St. Martin Apostolate has made many changes and refurbishments in the intervening years, with many more planned for the future. We are looking forward to many new additions in the Apostolate with this web site being just one of the new initiatives. [/su_column]
